Why most websites don't bring in work

A nice-looking website isn't the same as one that works.

Found

Nobody finds it.

It isn't set up for Google or Maps, so customers searching for what you do in your area find your competitors instead.

Clear

Visitors don't know what to do next.

No obvious way to call, WhatsApp or ask for a quote, so interested people leave without getting in touch.

Fast

It's slow and fiddly on a phone.

Most people will look you up on their phone. If the site is slow or hard to use there, they don't wait.

What's included

Everything a business website needs to bring in work

One fixed price, agreed before we start. No surprise add-ons.

Words

Written for your customers

We write every page around the questions your customers ask and the words they search for. You approve it all.

Design

Built for phones first

Designed on a phone screen before a laptop, because that's where most of your customers will see it.

Google

Set up to be found

Pages Google can read, your Google Business Profile set up properly, and a page for each service you offer.

Enquiries

Easy to get in touch

WhatsApp, call and quote buttons on every page, and a booking form if you take appointments.

Speed

Fast and secure

We aim for a 90+ Google PageSpeed score on phones, with secure hosting, SSL and backups.

Ownership

Yours to keep

You own the website and the domain, and you can make everyday changes yourself.

Pricing

What does a website cost in Cape Town?

Prices vary a lot. Here's roughly what you'll find, so you can compare like with like.

R2 000 – R6 000

Template or DIY

Quick to set up. You write it, you do the Google setup, and it's usually built to exist rather than to bring in work.

R6 000 – R15 000

Freelancer

Can be great value. Check who writes the words, who sets up Google, and who you call when something breaks.

Questions

Questions about websites

How much does a website cost in Cape Town?

Template and DIY sites start at around R2 000, and most freelancers charge R6 000 to R15 000. Websites built to bring in enquiries, with the writing, Google setup and tracking done properly, usually start from about R15 000 and go up with size. Our builds start from R18 500, and you get a fixed quote before we start.

How long does it take to build a website?

About four weeks for most business websites: one week to plan and write, two to design and build, and one to launch and set up Google. Larger sites take longer, and we tell you the timeline with your quote.

Will my website show up on Google?

We build every site so Google can read it properly, set up your Google Business Profile, and write each page around what your customers search for. Ranking still takes time, usually a few months, and depends on your competition. If you want to speed it up, our monthly Grow plan handles search, ads and reviews.

Do you only work with Cape Town businesses?

No. We're based in Cape Town and work with businesses across South Africa. Calls happen on Google Meet or WhatsApp video, and Cape Town clients can meet us in person.

Can I update the website myself?

Yes. You get a simple editor for the everyday changes, like prices, photos and opening hours, plus a short walkthrough at handover. For anything bigger, ask us in your client portal.

Do you look after hosting and maintenance?

Yes. Hosting, security updates and backups can be included for a small monthly fee, so the site stays fast and safe without you thinking about it. You always own your website and domain.
